• Kidney problems (Kidney failure): If you have existing kidney issues, vomiting and diarrhoea may lead to dehydration, worsening your condition. Stay hydrated to reduce the risk.

You should also avoid Mounjaro if you have Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2). In addition, Mounjaro must not be used if you are allergic to tirzepatide or any of the other ingredients in the injection, as this could cause a serious allergic reaction.

It is important to understand that Mounjaro is not suitable for everyone, and it must only be used following a full clinical assessment. This is because certain health conditions, medications, and risk factors can make treatment unsafe or increase the likelihood of side effects.
